I would be hugely impressed with any squirrel who can tell time. And BLIND on top of that? What a wonder! I'm going to have to start following this Tychkowski fella

I read this whole post. Twice. My mind interpreted your words as this:

I think players don’t bother much with Jermain, he’s been asking the same useless, cliched, often cringeworthy questions for well over a decade now.

Tychowski used to be good. A great sense of humor and awareness about the ludicrousness of the Oilers. But since they had that one year to the 2nd round, he's been brutal.

I’ve seen this said here before. He really doesn’t. He had a few funny tweets when they were awful but he’s been unbearable since 2017.

He is no better than Staples or Jones. He’s a joke and an embarrassment of a “journalist”. Just go read his three most recent tweets. He is a hack.

Anyways...

Lucic is not nearly as bad as Oiler fans would have you believe. Thought that line looked really good all night. Really hope Lindholm and Mangiapane are okay.

I’d think a flat blade coming across there would nail the med and lat gastroc heads before hitting anything in the fossa.

Those two goofs are irrelevant, I don't waste my time with those losers or their opinions.

It is a process, they are still putting things together. What is promising is we are starting to see that rolling of the lines and coming at teams in waves.

The replay of the wings dman looking back a number of times as lucic closed in was funny. The guy completely bailed and it lead to the goal that pretty much iced it, Redwing desire to play went way down after that.

A concern I have is how bad they have been with face offs this early stretch. That has to improve. Got better in the third, but the team was sub 40% for a good portion of the game.

Big win and huge 2 points. On to California.

Flames and bad face offs are basically a club identity at this point. I feel I’ve only ever known a bad face off team that has occasionally had good faceoff specialists (and by specialists I mean Stephane Yelle).

I’m sure somebody knows the stats, how many years since Joel Otto has been at the club have the Flames been a positive faceoff team? It seems like a perennial issue.

Good game, although the Dome felt eerily quiet all night. I thought Lucic deserved a star. His best game of the season. He backchecked pretty hard all night, more then I ever saw Neal backcheck.

Rittich was calm and cool all night. Good win and hopefully the start of a good streak.

Wings are a bunch of no names these days. Quite the fall from grace after watching them dominate for 25 years.

Derek Ryan is one of the best face off guys in the league.

Flames were 3rd in the league last year. It was a big part of what made them successful. They are currently 25th.

Does anyone have a better view of the elbow from Lindholm? I feel like I can’t properly judge the whole sequence when the only angle we saw on Sportsnet was from 150 feet away. Lindholm is taking an awful lot of the blame in other corners of the internet, which seems unfair considering I can’t even be sure if he even really got Helm at all.
