Well ####, colour me shocked. You can’t spot an entire period to a motivated team and expect to win. It was rad, but not even close to the right call on Chucky last goal.

Show up for the entire game. Good lord.

Lucky they got a point. When you play for maybe 30 minutes at the most and spot a team a 3-0 lead it's pretty tough to win. And Sam?..........woof. Gotta use your head.

Hopefully a kick in the butt for the team, really ugly, slow, emotionless hockey for most of the game. Can't play like that.

I didn't get a chance to see the game.

Sounds like the Kings shut down the first line, which shut down all offense, and then Bennett killed a puppy at centre ice.

Bout' right?

Even though the top line didn't produce tonight, I still really liked Monahan's game. He was quick, engaged, and physical, and made smart plays all over the ice. Gaudreau and Lindholm both looked off tonight, so I think that's mostly why that line didn't get much done.

Monahan looks like a different player to start the year.

Bad penalty, at least we got a point and the Flames showed some fight
That’s press box worthy. We are on what now? Year 5 or 6? His free ride needs to be over. He’s not a first round pick and will never round into. Time to treat him like the bottom 6 player he is.

Not a terrible result for only playing 40 minutes

Flames have trailed in the third of two games now and didn’t get a PP opportunity in the third of either game.

Seems so weird that in both games the refs just put the whistle away - trailing team usually gets at least one.

Vancouver got 3 including a long 5-3 when they were trailing the other night.

Otherwise Flames are lucky to get a point, didn’t show up at all to start the game. And really only Tkachuk woke up once Lucic went and fought for him.

Exciting back half to the game. Not sure how the tying goal counted, but I'll take it.

I'm not too happy with a lot of forwards on this team.

Jankowski, Bennett, ryan, Backlund have done next to nothing, while the first 2 make glaring bone head plays.

The swings on this board are hilarious. Bennett has a good preseason and first couple of games, CP loves him and demands he gets put on the second line. Has a bad game, CP demands he sits in the press box. Holy, get a grip! I am not excusing the bad penalty but holy hyperbole by some.

On one of the few positive notes, I thought Rasmus and Oliver were a real solid pairing tonight. Didn't play scared and just shot the puck late in the game. Loved seeing that.

Jankowski needs to go. He’s AHL quality at best.

IF the first touch was high the refs have to call it on the ice...they can't check the replay for a high stick other than the one that puts the puck in the net

Flames got screwed on one in Colorado

We need another offensive center and RWer. Janko just doesn't cut it right now, and having someone to move Bennett and Frolik(if not moved) at RW down would be good for depth.

Good to know after missing most of camp and looking off for the first two games that Tkachuk is still a beast

I disagree. He's not AHL quality, or even a 'tweener. He's a legitimate NHLer playing like an AHLer. The kid is just not prepared physically or mentally right now.

I'm guessing he gets 15-20 games to figure it out before Dube steals his spot.

Anyone know how the tying goal ended up counting? Looked like a high stick before Tkachuk put the puck in.

How do we fit him in? Kylington looked good. He is the only non-waivers player on the squad.
