3 games in and I’m already sick of Bennett and Jankowski. Bennett has a million dollar natural talent with a ten cent hockey IQ. Jankowski is not an NHL player consistently enough.

Janko has been brutal on the PK so far.

He allows the high danger pass through him repeatedly.

can't play a 1st period like that and expect to win. take the point and start better next time. jankowski's role needs to be reduced, he's awful out there, always looks 2 steps behind the play. rittich deserved better. winning shot deflected off hamonic and went top corner.

first line was pretty bad and struggled to leave their own zone, not to mention generate offensively
i love bennett but those penalties
as mentioned, jankowski. so slow and passive. was weak on the losing pk

I hope the Flames don't have this mindset. Comparing to the worst generally isn't that productive.

But I guess for fans it's fine. Depressing though.

There is no player I want to succeed and make up for his draft position more than Sam Bennent. Love his drive and how he sticks up for his teammates. But, he literally is just not a cerebral player. Stupid penalties and at times seems to have such bad decision making. Stop with the toe drags!

There is a reason why he has never sustained any length of time on the first two lines. It sucks as I just want want him to become the top line Center he was drafted to be. I’ve always said his development was the key to the flames success.

Exactly. Literally, countless plays were let go. This game was being managed by the officials and I don't know why we put up with it. Honestly, more people need to start acting up about this.
