You are incorrect. I mean, I didn’t like him. How could anyone by the end of the year, but it was the trade happening so early with no pressure to do so I didn’t like.

I'm fine with it. If they win the trade and miss the playoffs, do they still win? The answer is and always will be....no.

Anywho, there's a Flames game on soon. Enough about this pylons.

well, there was always a chance this would happen, esp playing on the top PP unit...

a little surprised how quickly he's started to be honest, but not worried.

the Flames jettisoned him for a reason, i don't think BT is totally oblivious to what he was getting nor what he was getting rid of.

i do think that the deal could have been better, but fundamentally, BT thought the move was necessary, so we'll see if this continues all season

Doesn't Neal historically come flying out of the gates scoring goals, with last year bucking the trend (and then some).

Lots of season to go, but I don't miss him.

So happy Neal is scoring goals. We get a draft pick and Oilers get some points to get out bottom 10. Neal was soo bad last year and he will be this year when games get tight. Hope he scores 20 before Jan.

Good trade or not, I won't miss Neal one bit. He was that bad here. Addition by subtraction

So after only a couple season they've switched to a dark grey. It definitely does help, as your eyes tended to shift all the time to the bright empty seats all game before.
When the Panthers' building is more full than yours, the team is in trouble.

It's not his fault the Flames gave up on him after one season. We always knew that this was possible that he would bounce back from a career worst season.

Same. So gross. He's already hit last season's output.

I’m more shocked about something finally going right for the Oilers than anything else here

From what's leaked out Neal wasn't staying here regardless. The fit wasn't here in a lot of ways.

I think he gave up on the Flames as much as they gave up on him.

Well, at least Neal scoring goals won someone $100,000. Now they can get Oiler season tickets and be disappointed for 10 years.

Well the trade is going to work out very well for the Oilers it looks like.

Where the hell was this last season Neal? Could've used it.

You can try and soften the blow all you want but Neal scoring 4 blows hard.
