Ya, its pretty pathetic to say the least. Hence why whenever one goes out to a lounge, pub or club, its a sausage fest. I pretty much travel to all the major cities and its not as bad as it is here. Van, Mtl, Tor, Wpg, even Saskatoon is better ratio wise. Look how bad the numbers are in Calgary and it is only getting worse. The sad part as well is that there are more women in the world than men overall. LOL.

Though Mtl has the most beautiful women bar none.

Oh well, i guess that means as a man, your game/dating skills better be on point here in Calgary.

Seriously guys, leave Calgary. While I loved the city, it's too much of a suasage-fest to be considered a good place to meet women. The above statistic that someone pointed out is all too true - too many guys.

You want long-distance? Try being with someone who is living in the nether-regions of Wetern China for the next two years, and no way of regularly communicating. THAT is a test of faith.

Its funny as the Herald had an article talking bout how there were far more men in Ft. Mac than women, and they used an example of how it was at Fuel one night there. Basically 8 men to every woman, and I thought to myself, I have seen similar situations here in Calgary. LOL.

Not as bad as Ft. Mac, but horrible in Calgary nonetheless when it comes to girl guy ratios.
