I need decent headphones that fit into my MP3 phone jack. Dont like the ones that Bell gave me. Was wondering if anyone has any suggestions? Its a 2.5mm jack.

edit, i got this off a blog "the headphone jack is a 2.5mm 4 conductor type,(Left channel, Right Channel, Microphone, and Ground.) ?this means it has 4 contact points rather than the 3 that a normal stereo jack (left, right, ground) has. This is problem because most of the 2.5mm to 3.5mm (standard 1/8 mini jack) adapters do not compensate for the mic (4th conductor) which in turn will not properly send the signals to the correct channels and mostly give you a mono output to either the left or right speaker only (or worse, short out your equipment)"

Ive looked at Best Buy and Future Shop and Circuit City, but they didnt have anything.

Have you tried changing the rubber on them. maybe you have the wrong size and they don't hold properly.

Thanks..I actually took a look on ebay and you can find some there too. They don't seem to be offically made by Sony though, so i'm not sure about their quality.

http://www.sennheiser.ca/main.php?node=ct_01&pro=400

Picked these up a few weeks ago at Memory Express, after some good reviews by joggers at the Apple.ca store.

For running, these are fantastic.

I had clip around the ear buds before, but through the jolting around of jogging, they wouldn't stay in the ear properly (although they would stay on my head) and I'd have to readjust them.

But these Sennheiser's don't budge. Water resistent, and only one cord to worry about.

I guess you couldn't use them if you were going to be doing working out on things like a bench, but for running, you won't find a better set imo.

I have a pair of the Shure E2's and I LOVE THEM!!

Haven't had any problems at all with them while working out, as has been mentioned earlier- no weird sounds at all. The cord wraps around the top of your ear if you wear them properly, and if you cinch up the cord under your chin or at the back of your neck, and have a secure fit, they ain't moving. I use the foam earpieces and it's like having a set of earplugs that block out all outside noise but play music. I wish they had a volume control thing on the cable, but other than that, they're worth every penny, and really not all that expensive after you get over the fact you're paying $100 for earbuds.

JVC Marshmallows are supposed to be pretty good for the price.

I've ordered a pair of OVC T25's (rebadged pre-production V-Moda Vibes) which might be an amazing deal at ~$30US.

I now have these and I highly recommend them off eBay. After about an hour I found them really comfortable and I'm not someone who normally likes sticking things like earplugs into my ears.

Can anyone reccomend noise canceling headphones other than Bose? I demo'd the Bose but they are very pricey. I have seen other name brands for sale.

Thanks in advance

Do they need to be cancelling?

I have some Philips noise cancelling, and while they do a pretty good job a getting rid of "white" noise (like static or the hum of air craft engines) they won't cancel anything else out.

You may get better results from sound isolating headphones.

According to this link on Rad Flag Deals, London Drugs is having a sale on Shure.

I was using these Sennheiser earphones at work. They sounded great, but sometimes I wear my glasses instead of my contacts, and they're a bit annoying to clip on your ear with glasses on.

So...

I upgraded to these Sennheiser headphones, which I have had for about a year. I see there are even better ones out, now...

I am an audio freak. I rip all my stuff at 320, just because I hate (absolutely hate) audio defects. I'm an ex-musician, so I'm pretty quick to pick up on crappy sound - and my threshold is quite low.

That being said... I will be quite amazed if I ever buy another brand other than Sennheiser.
