Confirmation bias is a hell of a drug when it comes to players who play half the game and have the puck constantly.

Fans remember what they want to remember and when something happens, it confirms their suspicions, even as they ignore it in other players.

No need to overstate it in a rush to dump cold water on everything.

I’m very excited about Killington. I’m not convinced he makes it out of a bottom pairing role this year and likely tops out as bottom 4. But if I needed to pick one player with the X factor it would be him. Awesome skating and he showed amazing poise at times in the o-zone skating around like a rover. If lightning strikes he’s Karlsson light and electric offence outweighs mediocre defence.

Long shot to be sure but I enjoy watching him play and am glad he’s getting a chance to develop.
