Programming changes I would think would be announced in September?

Kelly Kirsh (sp?) went on the air and announced the plan to replace Rome this past spring. Entirely possible they didn't plan to make the change until fall but I doubt it.

I know from first hand knowledge that this show was earmarked for Will Nault, and was scrapped when Rogers cut the budget. Now, its all dependant on more money from the mother ship.

while i would like to hear more local content it also seems difficult for them to generate enough local stuff - if you listen to all of the afternoon show it seems the work a couple of topics every day and they rehash the topics almost hourly without much changing on the topic itself.

Yeah I think if you replace the Rome show with a middle show then the afternoon guys will have nothing to talk about that hasn't been discussed several times already in the morning.

Rogers has ruined many of their products with budget cuts but in this case the cuts resulted in a bullet dodged.
