Stuck Out Here is a pop-punk group from Toronto. I’m loving their new album. The standout track is “Sweet Fade”.

Speaking of pop-punk, the Mezingers have a new single out.

Spoon is releasing a greatest hits compilation and this new song, which is pretty good, is included on the album.

What I find strange about this compilation album is that there is zero representation from their early stuff in the 90's (Telephono, A Series of Sneaks, Soft Effects, etc), which is when I fell in love with them. I think their early stuff is just as good as anything they've released in the past 10 years (since Transference at least). And early fans of Spoon will remember there was quite a bit of hype surrounding the band, which makes me wonder why they are giving such short shrift to their early material.

Well blink-182 redeems themselves after that last monstrosity they put out. Lots of speculation this song was written because of the backlash their last song received.

Either way blink comes out with a new song and if this is the direction they go with the new album I’m in. Short and sweet.

The only thing wrong with the song is the vocals. They sound auto tuned or something.

Anyone else buy and download the leaked 18hrs of Radiohead - OK Computer sessions? I'm loving this insight into their creativity!

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

New album from Canadian indie-rock legend Ian Blurton (Change of Heart, C'mon, Blurtonia, Public Animal). Looks like it's the first record he's ever released under his own name, which is unusual for him.

I'm just a few tracks in so far, but I'm really enjoying it. Just a wonderful blast of good old fashioned kick-you-in-the-nuts hard rock.

Ian Blurton is an underrated musician. He seems to have a new band every year. One of these days he’ll find the magic and hopefully make it big. And I say that even though he drunkenly hit on my girlfriend at the Night Gallery.

New e.p. from Why? will be released soon. Pretty clear at this point that their quasi-hip hop sound from earlier in their career (Alopecia, Elephant Eyelash) is gone for good. Yoni is still an interesting dude though judging by this video.

Beautiful little animated video about Japanese internment camps during WWII.
