2 wins jn the past 3 playoff series.
2-12.
You think these losers still need to learn???
If anything they got worse as they played better vs Ana and were sunk by goaltending

Gaudreau is fast but he tries to stay away from contact and has to slow down so he can be shifty.

Nothing wrong with heaping praise on the guy. He’s absolutely elevated his game. The exact type of middle six guy every team needs.

yeah, i don't get this.
Bennett far and away the best forward for the flames through 5 games.

I'm at the game, and someone just threw a Flames jersey on the ice at the end of intermission. I guess we're on the oilers level now

One of the most exciting regular seasons I can remember, coming from a guy who's been a fan for 30+ years. Lots of goals, exciting games, just........fun.
To see this team be a shell of what they played like all season is just disheartening. This isn't the Calgary Flames I know. They're not playing their best. Not even close to their best. They looked shocked, scared, afraid and just 'off' the entire series. They didn't dictate anything........they let the Avs decide how the series was going to be played.
Just going to enjoy watching some of the young building blocks we have like Rasmus, Valimaki, Eat Bread, etc and ponder what Tre will do this summer.

That’s the only Calgary I’ve ever known

Screw that every single play matters in the playoffs and the refs decide too much of these games.
Not saying just tonight but it’s inconsistent series to series and game to game and every fan base thinks the reffing sucks.
League needs to figure it out.

I thought Johnny played with intensity in the first 2 games, thought he was real decent, back checking, all over the place, no issues with his effort. Would have liked a goal or two, but...

I would guess Treliving has a sense of what imploded, and we’ll see what happens. I know I’d be ridding myself of Monahan, Brodie, and Neal if I could.

Nobody is touching Neal with that salary

Not sure how anyone can be watching this game and thinking to themselves "boy this team would be better if they subtracted Brodie".
Guy is playing a dominant 200 foot game. Not even talking about the goal.

Hamonic has been much better tonight.
Still has the gap control of a twelve year old but at least he’s standing up at the offensive blue.
Brodie absolutely infuriated me on the 3-1 goal. He had an eternity to simply skate but instead he hides behind the net and passes it out. Gets intercepted which started the breakdown. Just stupid stupid play, a relic from the gulutzan days. Haven’t wiped all pf his stink off yet.
