Yeah they are playing scared. They can't battle.

McLean pointing out Grubauer's dive and thinking about MacKinnon's theatrics... maybe the Flames just need some acting coaches for next season?

I’m not mad. I’m not disappointed. I’m just straight up sad. What an awful performance in the playoffs. Truly awful.

Exactly low bar...you aren't gonna win with Bennett as your top player. Look at his chances for and against for the series.

Maclean’s right about the defensemen pulling in Bennet. Kelley is write about how the league sees it, but I think Ron caught the detail the league overlooked because they were too caught up in supporting the original call on ice, rather than looking at it objectively.

Not sure I agree on Grubauer selling it though, that’s a step too far IMO

So noone is going to pitchfork Johnny on this witch hunt? Really? Just Janko, Mony and Brodie? (All rightfully so)

Well, yeah, low bar because he’s a third liner playing up the lineup and playing well.

Nothing wrong with heaping praise on the guy. He’s absolutely elevated his game. The exact type of middle six guy every team needs.

The poor officiating had indeed hurt the Flames. But not as much as the Flames effort and effectiveness. The Flames killed themselves.

Go ahead and be upset with officials, I get it because I am too but don't blame them for the Flames losses. We have had zero drive and zero battle.

100% all of this is on the Flames.

I am ... not so sure. I was watching the Islanders-Penguins games and thinking "WOW that's fast hockey." I don't think the Flames have that in them, to be honest. Our top line isn't fast. Period. Gaudrea is shifty, not fast. Monahan, not fast. Slow. Lindholm not bad, but not fast.

that's a damn impactful game. his numbers are from playing with jankowski and neal, two guys who should not be regulars in the playoffs. look at his chances for and against away from those two

I think we need to actually make some substantial moves at the trade deadline if it looks like we are playoff bound. I'm all for going strong on some playoff rentals. Brad has been too passive and reserved and has been committed to his core. It should be obvious by now that they need more for the playoffs. If any team needs some rentals it is Calgary.

When was the last time this team had an elite #1 centre? Iggy never got to play with one and now Johnny hasn't had the chance to play with one. Maybe that has been the missing ingredient all these years?

Hopefully the Flames organization won't ask for $150 for a press box seat next time. Patfattic team effort
