We really need a centrist party option.

I'd be shocked if they folded. We need that legit third option and it won't be the Liberals

This could apply to people in the oil and gas sector too... really any industry that is lacking (or will be lacking) employment.

In the context of his job he's a moron. I don't give a toss how nice a person he may or may not be he has zero understanding of even the basics of finance. He should have never accepted such a job.

Well at least Mandel found his tie.
I suspect after this election the AP will climb in the polls to double digits. I'm guessing the anti-UCP vote coalesced behind the NDP but that will subside. It wasn't long ago that the Liberals were a healthy opposition.

Mandel is a slumlord who has the personality of a slumlord. When does he step down?

In the Sin Bin

The public: "we want jobs, pipelines and a better economy."
Kenney: "I'll give you those."
Notley: "I already lied about all of those, but vote for me anyway because the other guy is scary."
Public: *Votes for Kenney*
NDP: *shocked pikachu*
Anyway, the real disappointment is the Alberta Party seemingly getting wiped out too. Good call on the leadership coup, Edmonton. Thst sure paid off, eh?

Kenny’s plan does not include any significant cuts to the public sector. The platform stated hold spending at current levels. Therefore in general a long serving public sector employee, especially one close to the front line in service delivery is unlikely to lose their position.
So without know specifics 95-99%of public sector employees will see no change.

Maybe, but she slipped into bed with that party, and although she may be fairly far right within that party as you can get, her campaign got funded from that party, so she had to tow the line and walk carefully.
