Does anyone know if Larry Heather has hit 10 votes yet?

Mandal forgetting to submit his paperwork, and then his confusion over the robocalls made him look errrr confused.

Yes but he can no longer be an incompetent financial manager.

I think they are dead. They have to fold at this point. If they had even a single seat it would be a building block for the future and a potential landing point for some of the more progressive conservatives that might start drifting away from the hard right leaning Kenney conservatives.

Edmonton likes living off NHL welfare in the form of first overall draft picks, not surprised they love the NDP

Interesting question: you’ve got someone, a very hard and committed person working in the public service sector, now worried about losing what job security they had. What do you tell them? (This is not entirely a hypothetical, I’m just not sure what to tell them)

Why is David Khan even talking? Slink away and hope no one notices you or mentions you. Getting obliterated in a riding your party has held for, what, 15 years, is sad.

"This is not the end of the Alberta Liberal Party - we will regroup, reload and carry on".

Give me a break. If you can't even finish third in your own riding, you're done. Shut it down.

I just don't understand why they're so stubborn about keeping that brand.

He's not a moron. Good, kind, socially responsible guy. Loves his community (Inglewood) and was a good alderman in his municipal days. Always spoke for people in need. He was chosen as a Treasurer by Notley despite having no financial skills whatsoever, because he was the most experienced politician on the ticket, which is a sad story on its own; shows NDP's total lack of depth. He would have made a great minister for seniors.

The NDP borrowed money to operate, added like 100,000 new union jobs with that borrowing to buy union numbers and votes.

Buck up and maybe try a new industry? That seems to be the going trend for those out of work these days.

Or move somewhere else to find work.

That'd be kind of sad, I did like some of what they were bringing to the table, but like I said, their campaign and their leader didn't really inspire much confidence in me, plus I never heard back from my AP candidate.

I would expect that fund raising is going to be really hard for them, so year, folding the party might be an option for them.

We really need a centrist party option.

You'd think the next election is a great chance to get a decent amount of seats, lots of people will want to vote out the UCP and I'd assume there will still be a lot of anti NDP sentiment in this province.

Will be interesting to see, but it starts with a new leader. Mandal was not the way to go.

CBC has now moved from UCP candidate resignations and social issues to gender parity.

Oh, hang on, we're going back to NDP headquarters!
