I don’t know if I want the Flames to sign Hall if his team always gets the first overall.

To add to the sweetness, and enrage Oiler fans more, the game winning goal on Saturday to drop them down, scored by arguably Chiarelli's best UFA pickup, at least as far as value wise goes.
And a former Flame.

Treliving and co. crunched the numbers, let Chiasson go, and now they are paying him under the table to destroy the Oilers from the inside.

Oilers fans desperately clinging to chaos theory. If they lose, something else happens that prevents the same order of picks.

The only thing that is going to make this season any better is the Stanley cup

So did Ottawa made a good choice to keep last year's pick for Brady Tkachuk?

Definitely. Now. But it wasn't looking good for a while there.

So, now the question, are NJ or the Rags one player away from improving or do they parley their picks for NHL players PLUS futures?

No way. The rangers in particular are rebuilding and will take a franchise cornerstone.
It’s far harder to get an elite player than good ones. They aren’t trading down.

Rags are for sure picking. Their youth movement is good. . The Devils? They dont pass on Hughes.
Question should be do the Rags take Podkolzin or Kakko? I'm guessing they go Russian.

It's a fun thing for him IMO. Because none of it has been his fault.

The guy's the reigning Hart Trophy winner, not like it's at all his fault.

This worked out especially well for the senators..... Too well.
Making fans watch the avs draft hughes or kakko would have have been a critical blow.
Im convinced there are side deals or some sort of interference on these outcomes.
That being said, pretty happy how it all works out. As much as i hate the hawks, the league is better when they are good, not to mention making it that much harder for Canada's unwarranted sweetheart jets.
So so soo happy i didn't even care to watch this as a flames fans. Pray to the heavens, we flames fans can ignore this night on the hockey calendar for years, decades...

Man, after 4 it's a total crap shoot where teams go. I bet it goes center heavy after that. Dropping some real good d men and wingers down the order.
