I don't think Subban made contact, but what a dumb move. Just stupid.

With how protective the NHL is with the officials I wouldn't be surprised if he got a phone call for it.

I think Lagace is backup tonight. Someone mentioned it earlier in the thread.

That was his replacement Tom Rowe, actually.

Looked like contact with an official to me

What an idiot. Wasn’t close to interference.

Pick your battles Subban. It was not interference, no need to lose your crap over a marginal play like that.

It looked as if the ref made the gesture that Subban was thrown out. Did I misread that call?

Edit: And yes at the very end he jerks his facemask into the ref's visor. The NHL has given supplementary discipline for less on a ref. Not like it's a huge blow to a team to lose their backup for a bit.

Lindholm has looked pretty good tonight I thought. Has had some hustle on the forecheck, looks like he is at least working for it.

Not sure what Subban was doing there, was he trying to threaten the ref into reversing the goal call? So dumb.

I thought that too, if that’s the case I wish he wouldn’t of done that.

I saw that too. I wasn't sure if it was a gesture that he was getting a call, or if he was tossing him. Looked like the tossing gesture to me.

Guess we'll see.

He did for sure.

First he pointed at the jumbotron as in “watch the replay”.

Then the head fake happened and he motioned “you’re gone!”

Nice to see the Flames score more than 2 goals. Been a long drought.

Subban is lucky to have a job in the NHL and his job is far from safe. Costing your team a penalty in a tight game in a playoff race against a division rival is a very poor decision. I hope he comes out rattled in the 3rd because you know Gallant just ripped into him.

NHL.com is showing the call as a 2 minute minor for unsportsmanlike conduct.

The centremen who are touching all areas of the game for us are Mikael Backlund and Derek Ryan. It's not a coincidence that those are the lines carrying the team tonight.

Sean Monahan is not a #1 Centre. He seems to lack the capacity to control the game like a centre, but a lot of his point production masks that.
It's not that you said it, it's that you just won't shut up about it. You're like my three year old yelling for everyone to look at the dog over and over and over. Ya. We saw. Great.
