the ref saw a head snap back and called it, puck wasn't even there it wasn't a focus

The NHL does not want small market Canadian teams to be successful. It’s bad for business.
Bettman and Daly have a mandate to build the product in the States. All you have to do is look in the stands at a Coyotes, Panthers, Islanders and Hurricanes game and wonder how these cities still have franchises.

Flames hemmed them in quite a bit in the 2nd half of the period. They're definitely not as scary as they were last year. Flames can beat anybody, and they're playing well so far tonight. We just need some freakin' bounces to start going our way.

Even Fleury didn't act like he was interfered with... goal went in and he just went into his post-goal ritual skate.

They should actually take the two head refs, give them separate ipads and put them in opposite penalty boxes with their backs turned to each other. They get 2 minutes max from the first time they press play on the iPad to enter their ruling.

- If they can't enter their ruling within 2 minutes, the call on the ice stands.

- If their rulings disagree with each other, the call on the ice stands.

- If their rulings agree, then that's the call.


This whole "watching it in slow motion over and over and engaging in a confirmation bias chat with your buddy" is just silly and embarrassing. Nobody knows what this call is anymore.
