Sounds like there are two Western Conference teams sniffing around on #FlaPanthers Derick Brassard. He’s almost certain to be traded today. Now that #CBJ have added Duchene and Dzingel, a return to Columbus seems far less likely.

Wennberg appears to be the odd man out in Columbus again:

Panarin - Duchene - Atkinson
Foligno - Jenner - Anderson
Dzingel - Dubois - Bjorkstrand
Dubinsky - Nash - Robinson

Feel like they could use another bottom 6 RW for their run.

There have been two rumors this year that Flames were talking to teams about Neal already. Both Wennberg and Neal have 4 years left after this one...wonder what the Flames would have to add to Neal to make that swap.

I'm a Brassard guy. Think he'd be a cheap add to help bolster 2nd unit PP and add depth down the middle. I'd be into that for a reasonable asking price.

In 2016-17 Ferland was one of our better players long before he was promoted to the top line.
