Schremp realizes the Isles had pretty much the worst goaltending in the league last year, right? This year Lehner could be a Vezina finalist. That tweet is no good (kind of like Schremp's NHL career).

That jersey name doesn't even make sense. "ASS EATN SZN". Does it mean the Oilers eat ass this season? Am I missing something here, I don't associate eatin ass with something good, so that means he is cheering for them to be bad? Baffling.

Trying to decipher Oiler /Oiler fan logic is futile. It's always ass eatin' season in Edmonton.

I used to get razzed by the guys at work when the Flames lost a game, but no more. The Oilers fans are so downtrodden that they cant be bothered to grill me anymore.

This is what I thought of when I saw the jersey.
NSFW!

It’s the Edmonton way of telling the world how flexible you are.
I'm the same. Almost in a obsessive way though.
When both teams are playing, I have the Flames on TV and the Oilers on my laptop.
I hop from here to Twitter, to HF, to Reddit and am constantly looking for comments from crushed and broken fans. When I see something like: "I'm a long time fan am am now giving up.", the joy I experience is addictive. So I go looking for more. I feel like a horrible person because I'm feeding off their misery but it's just so amazingly satisfying. I truly can't get enough of it.
I think there’s a term for that...

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

It's mind boggling. The guy is a billionaire. He made that money by being business savvy. And yet the Oilers are the Oilers. It's great, but it's also so very, very pathetic and unbelievable. And it just goes on and on. What a dichotomy. So great and so pathetic at the same time.
This isn't uncommon. Rich business savvy owners buy a sports team and suddenly lose any sense of business acumen.
I suppose it's like Dragons Den or Shark Tank when the experts decline going in on a business venture because they don't have the expertise to help, only its ego thinking "I made billions running a pharmacy, obviously I know how to run a hockey team!"

All these misery happening in Edmonton had me wondered - what if we had Ken Hitchcock as our coach? Would we still be the "elite" team we are now today?
It's just so ridiculously unbelievable. I mean, it's hilarious that it's happening to the one sports team I hate the most, but really, it's downright unfathomable that a man who made himself a fortune large enough to buy his favourite team is so stupid and blind to the fact that he's ruining it by continuing to keep his childhood heroes in management.

Maybe Katz is the greatest Flames fan of all time.

Hitchcock is a proven, winning coach. It is one of the reasons the Oilers look so bad. Not even a great coach like Ken Hitchcock can save the Oilers.
No one can.
