The Vancouver game was like this too. Monahan doesn't miss the net on the 2on1 in the 3rd or Gio doesn't hit the crossbar in OT; we're celebrating that night.
Our offence is just slightly off the sharpness right now but we're still carrying the play most of these games.

I'd be concerned if the team was actually getting consistently outplayed but that hasn't been the case aside from Tampa.
If this is the extent of our "slump", we're a really good team.

LOL, so reactionary my friend, Ryan has been awesome and he won’t be the reason why the flames may or may not go far in the playoffs. This is like the flames first real slump of the season, it happens to every team. I think you need to take a step back. Best season in ages, just enjoy it

I’m curious to see how Peters handles the goaltending situation for the next two weeks. Smith looked good but I wouldn’t mind seeing BSD play the next 5 until our next b2b. Gotta believe he can get back into a groove. A little cushion in the division would be nice too.

And at the very least it is good to know Smith can still put up a strong performance when he gets the start from time to time.

Am I crazy for wanting to see Foo in the NHL again? He really impressed me last year (in garbage time, albeit) and he's seemingly gotten better and better as the AHL season has gone on.

I know there are guys like Quine and Lazar who might have better cases, but Foo has shown he can convert in the NHL. 2 goals in 4 games. I kinda want to see if he can replicate that or if he's the next Akim Aliu.

The poor kid should probably have signed in Edmonton. He would be a NHL top-six winger by now.

Blues are not going to be a wild card team...Winning the west is still the best option unless you are scared of the Wild, Canucks, Blackhawks,

Home ice Vs. Vegas isn't the end of the world though, but goalie match up would be scary

Remember hearing about ex-players talking about how this time of year is the hardest part of the grind of the regular season. It's tougher still when the team's comfortably in a playoff spot.

Hoping Peters can ramp them back up so that they're peaking for the start of the playoffs.

We have been kinda spoiled...Flames have virtually locked up home ice in the first round...a team we worried about making the playoffs

Its February

I’ve been away from Calgary and couldn’t watch any games since the All-Star break and Flames didn’t win once. Coincidence or causation? I better get back home soon...

I would like to see Gio in the shootout. Come in on his off wing and rip it far side, even if the goalie knows its coming I bet it goes in half the time. Also Kylington would be a good option i bet.

Game 57, tied for second overall in the entire leaugue. Yeah, I'm just gonna enjoy that and be confident this team will shake the slump soon.
