Unfortunately the 49ers game isn't available to me...
I spoke too soon - Fox Seattle switched coverage.
Go NINERS!

Denver holds.
Just have to run the clock out really.
I'd rather they win though...I like the matchup against the Pats better than the Colts.

49ers hold.
And gain a bit of field position.

Unbelivable....Chiefs need 4 games to go their way today, and they all come through. Last year the 10-6 misses out because nothing went their way. At least the Chiefs didn't back into the playoffs as they did win their last two, but they are the AFC's weakest playoff team. Still they have a running game, and they're playing in Indy. I hope Larry Johnson is up for 50 carries next week. Also, Herm Edwards.......DONT START TRENT GREEN!!!!! He's finished as an NFL quarterback. Damon Huard gives you a better chance to win the game next week, and YOU PLAY TO WIN THE GAME!
WHOOOOHOOOOO!!!! The Chiefs second playoff appearance in 9 years, we are not as bad as the Lions and Cardinals!! I totally thought they'd be a 7-9 team and be drafting 8th overall a couple weeks ago. Crazy, crazy season. The Niners are now my second favorite team.

I wouldn't say the Chefs are the weakest AFC playoff team -- the Jets had an extremely soft schedule, and the Pats really aren't that great, and live off the aura of Bellichik and Brady. They also have a really great chance against the run-stop-inept Colts.
I'm just glad the Broncos didn't make it in. I hate that team. Yahoo.

Man that broncos lost hurt, I much rather would've had the Jets coming to the RCA dome then the Cheifs. Hopefully Lary Johnson hopes to retire before sunday.
It does seem that the entire world has basically given up on Indy and there chances of winning this game. While I'm not sold that Indy will win, Manning is playing so well right now he could win the entire game by himself (see KC/Indy's last playoff game 3 years ago) He hasen't thrown a pic in what seems like forever and having Clark back really helps him too.
He's going against a KC defense that allowed 400yrds to Jax, 300 to Oak (what a god awful team), 350 to SD, 360 to Balt, 430 to Cleveland. That along with Bob Sanders in the lineup gives me hope for Saturday. It's going to be tough, but I'm not giving up on this team as many have, just yet.

Not only could Saban be leaving the Dolphins but now apparently Jason Taylor is considering retirement. That would be a huge blow to the Dolphins.

LOL. I hope everybody is thinking the same as you, the Pats are a playoff team, they know how to win the big games.

Pats are the least repected 12-4 team I can recall.
And the Jets beat 1 team that ended with a record > .500 (Pats).
It should be an interesting matchup.
I'm calling this game a pick'em.

Don't worry nobody else does think that, the Pats are the media darlings that have already won a ticket to the SB by just making the playoffs.

No, you most certainly did.
That's ok though... a playoff game without Darrent Williams would make me want to puke even more than I do now.
Good luck to the Chiefs...I'll be rooting for them.

Really? The Chiefs are a 9-7 team that needed 9 games to go their way in the last two weeks and win their remaining two to get into the playoffs. The Colts had the division won in week 12. Indy should be a double digit favorite in this game. Even though they've been a bit off the past few weeks they're at home where they seldom lose against an inferior opponent.

Well the Chiefs have struggled against little know QB's that they don't have a book on. Especially guys who have some mobility. Derek Anderson, Quinn whoever he is for Jacksonville, and Seneca Wallace racked up yards against the Chiefs. But pocket passers who the Chiefs had a book on were generally kept in check. Also a few years back Herm came up with a pretty good game plan to kill the Colts, mind you the weather helped him out a bit. Manning is the best there is and his receivers are top notch so this should be interesting. If the Chiefs can keep them out of the end zone early and get their running game going and get a coulple big plays on special teams than they have a shot. If they don't get that, it's another 45-10 Indy win agains a Wild Card team.
I hate the Colts, hate Irsay, and hate them for beating the Chiefs at home in 2 of the Chiefs last 3 playoff games. I'd hate Manning and Harrison too, but they're so damn good you have to respect their ability. KC owes them some big time pay back. But I don't see it coming this year. Than again I figured the Chiefs to go 3-13 after week two, hopefully I'm wrong again.

Sylvanfan...
according to the Kansas City Star the Chiefs put Jason Dunn on IR before the Jags game assuming they wouldn't make it. They are evidently apologizing mightily to him. What kind of management is that? BRUTAL!

Yeah, I saw that artical regarding Dunn.....All that so they wouldn't lose Casey Printers off thier practice squad (yeah, teams are lining up for that guy).....Dunn even tried to convince Peterson last week not to do it. Gotta feel bad for the guy because he played injured for 6 weeks and now he has to sit out a playoff game which is a rare occurance for the Chiefs.
