Nothing much. Wanted a timeout but agrees with the message Peters was sending pulling him.

How much does being short hurt breakaways? You can’t get as much reach on a deke or change the angle of the shot. Sometime both Byron and Gaudreau have in common anyways.

Basically said Peters is simply trying to send the team a message (regarding the Rittich pull against the Sharks). And that these are all important games from here on out, and guys have to be ready to play.

Feels like a bit of a Canucks-centric intermission. Flames are 1st in the Conference. Expected to hear more about that (and Gaudreau, Tkachuk, Lindholm, Monahan, Giordano etc).

Look at the Oilers, they can outhit and outmuscle any team, but they still lack the depth and intelligence. so going after players physically means hardly anything in this NHL. the flames need to play the way they were before the break and they could be dominating the nucks right now

Johnny should just go wind up slapper on his next break like Backlund did a few seasons ago

Seems to be in a bit of a slump since All-Star Game break.

He seems to be in a bit of a slump over the last 2 or 3 games. Definitely hasn't been himself lately. It's weird.

We dominate when we simplify our game and play with speed.
