I'll give the Canucks credit. They're a desperate team and they came to play tonight. Flames with a very sloppy period, but thankfully they managed to tie it up. Hoping for a much more Flames-like effort in the 2nd.

You wonder if all those slashes to Johnny’s hands made him more of a shooter on breakaways vs his dirty dekes from a couple years ago
... as in, he doesn’t want more slashes (not loss of skill from damage)
