That’s been the hallmark of his career. When he’s on? Watch out. Looks like a legit top liner who hits and scores goals. When he’s off? Not much to write home about. Unfortunately it feels like he’s on 1/3rd of the time and off 2/3rds.

I’m sure the wizard can finagle some kind of deal to provide Seattle with an extra asset to not choose certain players. Anaheim did it with Manson, Carolina with Brickley, Minny with Scandella and Dumba. BT’s got it covered.

Based on Francis, I'm predicting a 3-2 final score.

If he's the same guy I'm thinking about he's.. an odd one. Super friendly but tried to do the wanna-be insider thing wth his shiny group last year and failed miserably.

Can I argue calling a draft pick that became Mark-Edouard Vlasic "peanuts"? That guy's a damn good defenseman. Like the Iginla trade, it worked out pretty great for both teams.

Fair enough. I'd take Kipper over Vlasic.
Mostly I'm basing the trades on impact on the Flames.

What? Are you too young to remember the unknown comic on The Gong Show? <--- I am embarrassed because I am old enough to remember it, so I put a bag over my head.

Kipper was traded for a 2nd round pick, not Vlasic. The Sharks got fantastic value for that pick but that wasn't the trade.

Remember Ferlands coach was GG the last two seasons. Im sure Bill can get the most out of him if he came back.

Bring back Curtis McElhinney and Michael Ferland at the deadline!

I kinda wanted Varlamov in the off season. I wonder if they would get rid of him based on his play, which IMO is a nice off year.

Good. Made some nice saves when the Flames were running around and being dominated.
