Yesterday I got a little gift from my guy. He took a picture of Rowdy into a jeweler and had it made into a little silver charm, and said it was something to hold onto when we go see the Flames play in Dallas in April because Rowdy wouldn't be there for luck. Sweetest. Gift. Ever.

I seem to be out of the loop on the slang used around here. I quite often see "  " but after doing a online search, I came up with nothing, I'm stumped. Is this something used around CP exclusively? Or is this a new slang term for the young guys? Cheers in advance. B-)

The most perplexing Flame for me by far.
Some games he's a wrecking ball out there and being a huge asset to the team.........other games his head is in the clouds, makes poor decisions, takes bad penalties and generally has no idea what he's doing.
We need to see more of the former soon.......and on a consistent basis. When he's on his game he's a valuable piece, when he takes the night off you might as well cut your losses and trade the guy. He needs to get his head on straight.

I don't think Kipper for peanuts can be beaten. Iggy was a great find for a guy who wasn't going to be able to be re-signed. The trade netted the best player in franchise history, so I think it is up there too.
Now Mullen and Gilmour - Stanley cups, and the players traded were highly expendable. Lindholm/Hanifin are comparable to getting Gilmour and Mullen in one trade I guess. Those two players were a big part of changing the Flames from a decent team to a cup winner. They just filled huge places in the lineup.
