Rittich looks solid! No chance on that broken play that lead to the goal.

Peluso and Lucic match up pretty good.
Peluso listed at 6'3" 235 lbs
Lucic listed at 6'3" 236 lbs#
They both have 1 inch and 15 pounds on me but I'd still drop Lucic

Flames look rough because:
1) showing oilers no respect - trying to play way too cute, way too often
2) showing wear on the back to back

That should be the plan for every hometown hockey, no matter what community or story they plan to tell on a Sunday to be honest.

Well CGY can play much better and they know it. Fight hopefully settles everyone down. Second periods have been good of late. Just need to start playing their game. Clean up play in their end, move pucks fast and smart, exit clean, play fast and get zone time and shots.
Make the adjustments and start asserting your will CGY

We'll get some analysis, don't worry.
It'll just be from some peewee game with kids you don't care about in a town you'll never care to go too. Because Ron MacLean Boohoo its for the kids. Start the sad music

I know most teams struggle when they lose a second line centre, but I have to believe Lindholm centering line 2 with tkachuk has to be the go to in game adjustment.
Flames look brutal out there.

Calgary doesn't seem to have their mojo tonight. I hope that changes and Peters gets them flying for the second period.

Nah, wined and dined by the Oilers and McDavid. Lowe and Nicholson giving him a jersey etc and he’s clearly repaying the hospitality.
He has his favourites. His love for Brad Richards in the 2004 Finals was pathetic, because Richards is from a town not far from him out on the east coast.

I wish I could get a dog but my job just won't allow it. The smoke sounds good though, and a picture of said dogs would be appreciated!

Need the top line to show up and take control.
Johnny was awful that period, don't think he made any pass properly, including the 3 on 1 early that should have been a guaranteed goal.

That is my exact thoughts. We look Terrible and can’t make a pass. That just shows how bad Edmonton is.

2nd period is statistically the worst but yeah.
Also, Staple Prout to the bench. we'd have been better off seein Valiev at this point. He's putrid out there. Honestly. He had one good hit chasing down Kassian behind the net, the rest has been awful from him.
