I'm not able to make it to the GT, so I'll just drop these here.

Whoa...those folks posting are...a special kind of delusional. I get backing your team, even when they are down, but they seem to honestly believe that they have a hard schedule, that the Flames suck with no depth whatsoever and that they would be first in the league, except for bad reffing.

Wow.
I like to crap on oilers fans as much as anyone, but they legitimately have a harder schedule than us this year; not so much that it gives us some huge advantage and explains the gap in the standings, but officially harder.

Aw Rick Ball doing this Montreal Chicago game. Guessing that means we get the Oil crew tonight?

I thought they did last year but not this year. Saw some chart comparing schedules at one point

Because they don't get to play the Oilers and we do?

They have the most favourable differential of playing tired teams vs them playing tired against rested teams.

Just for curiosity’s sake, but by what metrics is the Oilers schedule “officially harder”?

Calgary gets to play Edmonton. Edmonton has to play Calgary.

Good move.

The opposite end of the emotional spectrum will be overwhelming for you, the rest of the evening.

I've been trying to find the link I read that in but I'm not having much luck.
I can't remember what metrics were used, but it had the oilers at the third hardest schedule, and the flames at 5th.

Win would be sweet tonight but history is not kind to teams playing the third in four nights. The Wild has nothing when they went up there. Lol at the oilers getting back to back games against team playing their 3rd in 4. Ridic.

If you’re talking about relative power index then you have it backwards. Calgary has had the 5th hardest schedule thus far, Edmonton is tied for 16th.

Semi-recent history hasn't been kind to the Oilers either.
