Vegas players doing a good job picking up their man in the D zone. Flames not so much.

Has the joke about the Flames spending all day black Friday shopping for their wives been made yet?

Sometimes you have to give the other team a little credit.

Flames got nothin right now. Sloppy passing, late to puck battles. They're fighting to keep up. Off game for sure. Not too upset we may take a loss though. Rittich looks stable today.
But, we kind of needed this W to take some pressure off of Smith who seems likely to get the ARZ game. May not be a great road trip.

So, I agree that the Flames do not look great—there are lots of bouncing pucks, and they are really fighting with control and timing. But “pathetic” and “garbage” are just the sort of repeated overreactions that make these threads practically unbearable.

Have to be faster in our transition.
Taking too long to turn it up ice and the knights are ready to clog the neutral zone passing lanes.

What does she know? I'll post this:

I hope this ends the debate. Cassie Campbell is so well regarded in the hockey world that she's the first woman appointed to the Hockey Hall of Fame Committee. She's replacing Duatschek who's 15 year term is ended.
I'll take the word of actual hockey experts for her credibility and insight.

That hit on Valimaki looked a little late for my liking.

Nah. Either Smith is ready or he’s not. I would be very surprised if the result of this game has anything to do with how he performs on Sunday. It helps that Rittich has looked fine, but by the same token he looks like a game off would not be the worst thing.

No reason to cut back after he has played the puck.
