it's not even like the oilers have played a good game. they've generated nothing that the flames didn't hand to them on a platter

We really need to win this game. I can't believe how disinterested most of the team looks outside of a few players. Losing to this top heavy trash Coiler team is unacceptable.

SJ up 3-0 in the game too. Flames really need to bring it in the 3rd.

Flames have sucked in the BoA since we let Joe Colborne go. Colborne was an Oilers killer.

He's a pure goal scorer who consistently plays the same. He doesn't show emotion, which is not a surprise. I wouldn't say he's not strong by any means.

Peters' biggest problem is time management in my opinion, although he's been much better than GG. Gio is a rock solid player with all the heart and strength in the world, but he's not superman. Just my opinion of course.

To be fair.
Brodie has elevated himself to the flames best dman over the past few games.
Super impressed with him. HE JUST NEEDS TO BE LESS HESITANT WITH SHOOTING THE DAMN PUCK!!

The top line can play their skill game, a team still needs other bang around lines.

Monahan has never been, and likely never will be, the emotional in your face type of player. You won't notice him on the ice until he buries one in the slot, and does it another 30+ times in the year.
This isn't new, and while I would definitely love a Ferland type player in this game, criticizing Monahan because he's not that guy is just odd

Really can't say enough about Rittich in this game. He's just so calm and cool back there, even with all the breakaways and odd-man rushes the Flames have given up. No matter what happens in the 3rd, he'd better get the start against Vegas on Monday.

Yep. I know it's beating a dead horse but this game would be 4-0 if Smith was in net.

Brodie has had Tanguay-itis his whole career. You just live with it because he's awesome. I don't know how he scored ten goals that one year, I'm shocked he had ten shots in a season.

he doesn't have sparkling production against division opponents, teams that the flames have struggled against and teams that the flames need to beat to go anywhere
