Good point, never thought of that.
Still, he's been a passenger, at least it looks that way, every game since game 1 of the preseason.

Oilers getting almost all of their chances off of bad Flames turnovers.

Please CBC. Monahan isn't emotionally invested in the game?

This has been Johnny's worst game in a long time IMO.
Hoping for a big 3rd from the top line. Hell an explosive period from any Flame would be acceptable.

Interesting point by kypreos on Monahan.
Will be a fault till the end of his career i think. Unless he scores, he does almost NOTHING to bring his team to a victory.

He really isn't. Guy could show a little emotion once and a while. It's kind of annoying, like get frustrated, get angry!

Build up the Heart and Soul Oilers as much as you can. Because if my hope is right, the 3rd period comeback is just going to pop that big ol' Oilers balloon in grandiose fashion.

Flames are better when they don't play the physical game. Seriously love Bennett and Tkachuk banging around, lord knows we'll need this in the playoffs, but it just doesn't mesh with the skill game of our top line.

What's your rebuttal?
Monahan has never looked strong in these games.
Tonight is no different

Flames just aren't playing well...this is the worst game from the forwards in weeks
its not about dressing a goons, there hasn't been a 5 on 5 goal in the game

Gio is suffering from too many minutes, he's tired. It was the same thing with TJ last year. When you play 25 plus minutes a game it's easy to make some glaring mistakes. TJ looks better because he's playing on his strong side and he's not being over-used. Peters is using Gio as a work horse and the result is he's getting burned. Peters' biggest problem is time management in my opinion, although he's been much better than GG. Gio is a rock solid player with all the heart and strength in the world, but he's not superman. Just my opinion of course.
