Hard to believe the team in Nashville and this one tonight are the one in the same.

Open the mystery box for what Flames team you'll get tonight!

The game I was thinking of was 5 goals in the third.
Guy Lafluer scored in this game! Lol!

Kipper wouldn't be able to save this game tonight in front of this Flames team as they played tonight. Penguins came to play and dominate.

I will say the punch in the face of Tcachuk should have been called back in the first.

What I don’t get is how they can look really quick as a team one game ( Colorado) and then so slow other nights.

Effort really seems to be a problem for this team night to night.

Whatever's rubbing off, it isn't his work ethic. The core consists of flawed passengers.

I am sorry but this might seem a little optimistic for the rage level in here right now buuuut I am glad this is happening. If they magically hung around like they did in MTL, the cage just doesn’t get as rattled as this. I still have belief in this team, systems and confidence just have to get synched. Mike smith is a good goalie in my opinion and if I were him I’d chew the team a new one while taking some blame too. The amount of high danger chances is just bonkers.

Just rushed home to catch the opening drop of the third. Been avoiding spoilers for the day. Eagerly awaited the scoreboard to appear.

Turned off game.

You don't win in this league without good coaching and goaltending, and the over-rated one has yet to deliver both in any season he's been here. He can't pass GM 101 despite several attempts.

Was handed a pretty good situation when he got here and has failed to achieve anything of significance with it.

But he's good at RFA signings and he talks a great game, so there's that.
Shouldve been fired when he waived Byron for three goalies that were out of the league after the season.

For some reason the brain trusts thinks he's a starter.

Good thing we got rid of Ferland and Hamilton.

Flames play so much better now.

Yeah. But he won’t. He’s not a starter in the nhl. We saw that last year. Nor should he be relied on as such. Not for a playoff team, anyway.

The Flames seem to be a team that start believing their own hype, and then stop doing anything that resembles and effort that got them the hype in the first place.

If I was an opposition coach coming in to face the Flames, I'd seriously be doing nothing but talking the team up. It seems like any praise goes to their head and this is the bs that you get.

Not a winning type of group of players that's for sure. Frankly if this was any other team I was commenting on, I'd be remarking that this is not a team that you'd ever need to worry about winning anything as they'd beat themselves before they got anywhere close. Frankly efforts like this make me wonder seriously about the "leadership" on this team and the lack there of. If the Flames have a disappointing finish to this season, I'd be taking a long look at shaking up things on a more serious note.

These definitely can be the games that a team rallies around - let's hope that's what happens out of this.
