This is wrong. He is bad. And I am actually shocked he wasn't that bad yesterday. Its usually Bob Stauffer and I can't stand him.

I didn't catch a name but I only listened to about 10-15 minutes, and at a time when the Oilers were being badly outplayed, so it could have been an anomoly.

McDavid himself did not seem impressed talking to Spector about his "record". That kid is not happy about his situation.

Silver lining in the Oilers win is how pathetically bad Winnipeg was last night in the third and OT.

Kinda like praising a goalie for standing on his head for several games, when that was because his team threw him to the wolves.

Yea, it looks likes Byfuglien was missing from this game, he would have tuned in Mcdelicacy a bit.

I watched the first two periods and thought that the Jets were just playing with the Oilers who looked awful. The Jets took them way too lightly and hardly seemed to be working up a sweat. Can’t believe the Oilers won! Maurice is not gonna be happy. The Oilers do need to win enough to keep them from another lottery win so keep the wins in the conference and lose to the eastern teams and the flames

It was a pretty flukey play to get the comeback started, McDavid whiffs on a shot and the puck just sits there for Rattie. Even more amusing was Quinn saying McDavid meant to do.

Tsn was reporting that heads would roll if the Oilers didn’t get results, so I approve of this result.

But I want to see head coach Gulutzan. As long as Chia is safe.

Really the best result is the Oilers hover around .500 all season.

Don't do bad enough to panic and make wholesale changes. Not bad enough to get a high shot at winning the lottery but not good enough to every truly be in the playoff picture.

I totally agree. But it would be so much more fulfilling in the short run to see them crash and burn completely over the next month.

I want the Oilers to completely crash and burn. Be eliminated from the playoffs by next month. I get how some of you say that you are worried that they would make positive changes by firing the current group of idiots that run that team. But if there ever was a franchise that could go another step further in sucking it would be Edmonton....they keep proving that.

Nothing can save the Oilers.....nothing.

Yeah, roll to other areas of the organization, similar to musical chairs / standard Oilers protocol.

I agree. Heads rolling means nothing because it would only be MacLellan and Chia. Not Lowe or others in the upper echelon.

Plus, the damage is largely done structurally. Lucic, RNH, Russell contracts are difficult to impossible to move and you can't get value for those players in any trade. Probably Draisaitl too. He's a decent player but nowhere near worth what he's paid, so if you find a team that needs that player, you keep salary and/or get a lesser value back.

Too high of chances for another lottery. I want them stuck at 16-20th for the next 5 years.

haha, I would be ok if they finished 31st EVERY SINGLE SEASON for the rest of McDavid's career. It doesn't matter who they get as draft picks, they still suck. Finish Last! Finish Last!

Indeed.

They've had four #1 picks and they still suck.

Bring on more.
