Apparently there are checks for Leafs fans trolling the Oilers because Matthews has been better than McDavid so far.
The Oilers are building something special -> fans believe it and it sounds good, so it makes it and even gets in the cheer of fame

They played a total of 3 games in 15 days. That is a road-heavy start for the Oilers. Wow. The Flames played 5 games in 11 days with 4 on the road. Any excuse to justify the Oilers in the standings by the media.
