I am so excited with all the changes but I could definitely see them out shoot the canucks 17-7 in the first period but be down 3-0 on the scoreboard. That would be such a Calgary Flames way to start the season. Especially with how excited we all are lol.

This is a nationally broadcasted game, so you should be fine. The only Flames games that are blacked out in BC are the odd Flames-Canucks games that are during the week and only on broadcast on the regional Sportsnet networks. As far as I can tell, there aren't any of those on the schedule this year.

I hear ya... Thankfully I'm switching to nightshifts so I have to be up all night anyway, but if I need to be up at 5am, no game for me  It's great watching the late games at work though!

Yeah no night shift option for me. I mean, if I do have to work nights, its proceeded by a full day and during the night shift I wouldn't be able to look at a screen.
The Mountain Time games don't bother me as much, but the Pacific start times are just killer.
