One lingering rumor has Guy Laliberté (Founder of Cirque du Soleil) being interested in an NHL team but he's also from Quebec City....would they dare try moving Ottawa to Quebec City.
The new arena deal in Ottawa has kind of stalled and Quebec City has that nice new rink sitting there needing a new tenant.
I doubt it happens but that team has struggled to draw even when good so it's an interesting thought.

I think Vegas makes sense on many levels.
They have the cap room to absorb both Bobby Ryan and Karlsson's salaries. The addition of Ryan, which I'm sure the Sens will still try to include, will reduce the ask as well. Vegas has quite a bit of depth that they could use to send the other way if Ottawa wants help right away.

There is a 100% chance he plays in the NHL again.
It would be hard for a GM to face his owner if they didn't meet expectations that season and there was a ~25 goal scorer to be had for cheap on the market.
I hate to speculate, but there sure is a ton of smoke coming from the Hoffman gf side here. I feel bad for the Karlsson's. What a beautiful couple they are, it's sad what they had to endure.

Even if she was, it still wouldn't be an excuse for the harassment, but it is a possibility. While she is a victim of harassment, I just mean that until all of the facts come out, we are jumping to a lot of conclusions.
I know I wouldn't feel like she was much a victim if she was popping pills.
