If the Capitals can pull this off playing their 1-3-1 system, does that signal the return of trap hockey?

I still think that Ovi deserves the Conn Smythe (if they win) and not just for sentimentality like Crosby's first one.
He's only 2 points behind Kuznetsov, but I think he does more in his own end than Kuznetsov does, plus he is the undisputed leader there. His tenaciousness has rubbed off on all the players and they have all elevated their game. Their post game interviews all allude to how his attitude has been a major factor in getting them this far.
It's awesome to watch him dig for pucks like a dog on a bone. Inspiring almost.
PS: No way that MAF wins the Conn Smythe now if they lose. Vegas needs to win for him to win it.

Cheering hard for the Knights. They get zero respect for all they have done which makes me like them even more.
Huge respect for Gallant and Bill Foley. They added some gimmicks to sell hockey and have come up with some great entertainment.
Love love love what I have been watching.

I agree. Kuznetsov is getting the scoring done but Ovi does so, so much more and still is right there neck and neck for scoring.
Teams cheat to cover him and that opens up time and space for Kuznetsov while Ovi largely has to manufacture his own opportunities.
If the Caps win, it has to be Ovi's.
One of the things that I hate about a lot of NHL awards is they're just too linear.
"He has the most points, ergo he was the best and should get the trophy."
Often, especially in the playoffs, theres more to being the MVP than just the points.

The Knights winning would be so bad for that franchise in the long run. I am glad we have a great series and that it involves a Cinderella story but the Vegas fans need to feel some heartbreak to understand just how hard it is to win a cup. I fear that if they were to win, fan expectations would be too high and the bandwagon would empty really quick! Let them rally around the team for better things next year!
One of the best parts of this series is watching Ovi when he is on the bench and the caps score. He is the most excited guy in the building!

Nice pregame feature on Sonia Scurfield and the 1989 Flames Cup.

The Caps better bring their A game tonight. I have a feeling the Knights are gonna be much better than they were in game 3.

CBCs pandering to anyone in the crowd remotely resembling a star is fairly embarrassing. I'm in my mid 30s and I've never even heard of this former Wonder Woman series or this actress, why are they so excited about her being there the past 2 games?

She's pretty famous and a longtime Caps fan so this was an easy one.

Not watching, but if you're talking about Lynda Carter...that one is on you, not them.
