Just go back to what they did 25 years ago. Start on the Tuesday after the season ends which should occur on the Saturday.
Games 1&2 and 3&4 are played on back to back nights with a travel day in between. Then every other day until decided.
Do this for the first 2 rounds and you shorten the length of the playoffs by at least 8 days and as many as 10.

Scott Oake is the reigning title holder of the most awkward interview championship.
Sting was obivously used to crap like that, but Shaggy had no idea what was going on.

Sting pretending to play that bass is looking pretty funny.

Why does a Stanley Cup game need these stupid telecasts beforehand? Maybe next year we’ll get awkward concerts, stupid dress up fantasy games and some sort of memoir reading form prior Cup winners.

Who does this? Why? Quietly introduce the visitors before the teams come out.
