Am I reading too much into it with him not mentioning Bennett and wondering if he and Tre have already spoke about a trade? I hope not as I want to see Bennett given a shot under this guy but how Bennetts name wasn't mentioned on the list of players he ran through is interesting.

There are things to like about Brouwer. If he's deployed correctly, he can be effective. A guy with 22 pts and 53 PIMs can be effective in the NHL.
Just ignore his contract.

I feel like he's just grasping at names (mony,johnny,dougie,brodie). Sounds like he doesn't really know the entire team yet.

Honestly...with this being a potential the direction the coach and GM want to go...I think Hamilton gets shopped for a top line forward.
Edit: Maybe not based on his other comments about Hamilton.

I think Brouwer, with the correct deployment, can hit 15/15 while still being a good PKer. I think Peters can do it.
