And you have an irrational love for the guy no matter how bad he plays. My dislike is not irrational, it is because he cost us games with his blunders, he turns over the puck under pressure, and he gets walked by forwards and that hurts my favourite team. If you are ok with that then great but I actually like my team to succeed and you can fudge the facts all you want about Brodie but like I said, the majority of the board is not fooled.

There are other hockey boards where you can get a read from other fans about their teams, players, coaches, etc...

We've been through this before when you ignore what's said and just look to lash out.

I'm a Flames fan first and foremost and have been all of my adult life. If you look at my join date, there were no Jets, and the name choice was akin to GoWhalersGo.

That really has nothing to do with the fact you are incapable of speaking about TJ Brodie rationally and then toss out statements like the whole board agrees with your comments like he should be given away for anything because it's addition by subtraction. No one but you thinks that.

Ok, do a FOI search for Brodie, go throughout the pages and see what is said. Sure is funny for a guy that everybody complained about I am the only one with the gonads to post what I think outside of a GT or a PGT. That is cool though, pile on. Does not change the fact he made errors that cost us most nights and was a -16 two straight years. He even had a high end two way D partner this year and he made him look bad as well.

We broke this down a few months ago and you conceded.

You called Brodie "garbage" + "a net negative" + "makes a critical error that leads to a goal every game". All demonstrably false. When I pointed out that his give-aways are relative to his ice-time which make your sensational comments exaggerations you agreed and took the foot off the gas for a while.

You're doing it again.

You've just suggested he be traded for a guy getting sat in the AHL and then went so far as to say we should give him away for anything because he's addition by subtraction. Regardless of your rage toward him, he has way more value than that and you taking this thread off track trying to insist he doesn't is absolutely futile.

I am not an advocate of acquiring RoR. Like you I believe we are decent at centre and need help on the wing. It does seem there has been a fair bit of chatter on the morning show about O’Reilly and there were plenty of Flames-Sabres rumors during the season.

I could be out to lunch but if a deal does happen for O’Rielly I see the Flames with their top 3 centre’s signed long term and Jankowski would be a victim of the numbers game.

You guys need to back off dissentowner. Brodie is going to get traded. His compete sucks and he’s expendable and could potentially bring in a max domi etc. It will make the team better.

I didn't say he was worthless, I said he hurts the team and getting rid of him will have a positive effect on this team and I stand by that. Getting Alex Nylander would be a great return as I still think he will be a top six forward.
