That was fun to watch
They torched the flames for countless years, but pretty damn classy guys off the ice, great careers, nice that they got to have the story book finish

I know I mentioned this before, but years ago when the Sedins were relatively young, I was in a Starbucks close to GM place and they were ahead of me in line. I saw them throw a $50 bill in the tip jar. And they did it very stealthly as to not make it obvious and draw attention to it. They were also very courteous.
I respected them a lot when I saw that. Very humble men and great hockey players. I wish them nothing but the best.

Great finish to a spectacular career. What a fun night for canuck fans I would assume.
Good riddance though. I loved to hate them both over the years but now you have to appreciate the outstanding the career they had.

It's going be really weird to see a Canuck team next season without them on it. Definitely the end of an era.

I wasn't a fan of them but I had trouble keeping my eyes dry during that game finish & farewell celebration.
Storybook finish to that game. Congrats to the Sedins. They deserved every bit of that ending & sendoff.

Can't write a script better than that. As an avid Canuck hater, cannot take this away from them and the fanbase. That was special.

End it tonight. Watched the last period and a half. Great finish.
Coyotes with 0 shots in 3rd.
That should be the final game, two goals including OT winner...not taking some plane into dumpy Nisku and dealing with the Oilers in some forced and contrived goodbye that’s, based on recent history, more about that Oilers organization trying to look “classy” to the rest of league then it is about any sort of gratitude.

What a way to end things. Feel good story for Canucks fans for sure.

Heck of a finish. Hated these guys for a long time out of respect, but without a doubt good classy guys. Very fitting ending.
The eerie numbers in that game proves there are hockey gods.

Though the refs staying out and shaking hands too was a new twist.

After getting rid of pathetic low life's like Bieksa, Burrows and Kesler, I can appreciate this, good for them and the organization to have a send off like that. Classy guys deserve it.

Was at the Canucks game tonight.
That's what I would call retiring like bosses. Mic dropped.

Even though I have despised the Canucks for as long as I remember I have to admit that I was cheering inside for them to win in overtime. I don't even feel dirty. That was one of the really special moments that sports can bring to life.

Awesome ending to that OT. Could not have possibly drawn it up better. More heart warming/fist pumping than anything the Flames have given on the ice in months.
