I have no sources, but if I was a betting man I'd bet a #### ton of money that Tippett will be his replacement.

When Hartley was fired, most here was in a bit of a shock. Not necessarily surprised about the firing, but mixed feelings on it, especially after winning the Jack Adams trophy the year before coaching one of the most memorable seasons in Flames history.
In Gulutzan's case, is there anyone on this board who actually thinks he should be kept here another year? The GIF cheering parade is literally waiting in anticipation for Monday.

We will have to see if Gulutzan was a Tippett fan when he worked for that organization and if there was a rift between he and Maloney. I expect if Tippett doesn't even get interviewed we will get our answer as otherwise it would seem like a no-brainer.

 Posted the 6 millionth post!

No need to hire the coach until end of the playoffs, unless they have some brilliant plan to get him involved early for strategy planning.
Also, when Millions and Francis were talking on the intermission on yesterday's game, Francis said that he spoke with Treliving, and he indicated there would be some changes in the personnel department. Millions asked Francis what he thought about a coaching change and Francis impressed that Gulutzan probably wouldn't be around.

I'd wait until AV/JQ if they get let go before hiring another coach. See if you can reel in a bigger catch.

Pretty sure Treliving will wait this time. Or he gives everyone a surprise.

I know its a joke. But I swear to god if he hires Eakins, I will not watch a single Flames game next year, and for as long as he is coach.

Yeah me too, I love seeing good people lose their jobs.
I know it's the business and he has to go but it's still bitter sweet.
I look forward to see who they'll hire.

It's strange - I've always been disappointed when we've fired a coach. Even the really bad coaches. I've always been saddened by the fact that the wrong candidate was brought in and it was another wasted season.
With GG though? I'm downright giddy.
After an atrocious season, I'm truly excited to watch this coaching staff get the boot.
I am always one of the first to say that you never wish personal ill on a player or a coach. That being said, I genuinely hope that GG never gets a sniff at another coaching position in this league again.
He has sucked all joy out of my valuable entertainment hours for almost two years now. I feel a personal burden will be lifted once he's gone.

Either InCoGnEtO will be a CP Hero for breaking this news or he'll be scolded for making everyone excited for Monday only to realize the crushing defeat of another weekend gone by.
