Zadorov made a great shot, how was it "terrible"? This is literally where he shot from. It was a whip that beat Rittich low glove side:
So much wrong with that period, but Rittich was not one of them.

It was more about the fragile makeup of the team. He is not wrong

Calgary is the worst coached team in the NHL. Fix that, and you likely fix the majority of the problems that plague this team.

Wat exactly was the bench penalty for? I missed it.

Earlier this year he said the same thing, and said GG was actually doing a good job holding them together, considering how they are.

Which is why Brad Tre needs to be scrutinized as much as the coaching staff should the Flames miss the playoffs. Sure his resigning of players has been pretty good. However his trades and some free agent signings have been questionable as welll. He has made many errors to go along with some good moves.

That was easily one of the worst periods I've seen from this team all season. Embarrassing effort.
It's basically a tale of two teams tonight. First half of the game the Flames looked like world beaters and were in complete control, and the Avs looked like they had tuned out for the night.
Then Tkachuk takes a dumb penalty, Colorado grabs the momentum and suddenly the Flames just collapse like a cheap tent, get sucked into more penalty trouble, and the whole thing just goes to hell. Is it a coaching thing? Is it the leadership? I just don't get it.

Not sure how anyone blames the 3rd/4th lines
Goalie has not been good, game turned on a Tkachuk penalty...first line with horrible coverage on the 3rd goal. IDK man

By his own reaction he thought he should have had it. No traffic from outside the dot, that shot goes in less than 25 percent of the time so to say no chance is pretty rich.

I never said "no chance", but there's a huge gap between "terrible" and "no chance".

That doesn't look like a great scoring chance to me...whole right side is open

So what is the answer? I know the majority want the coaching staff gone but it seems like this is a rinse and repeat solution that has not worked.

Who’s penalty was dumber, tkachuks completely unnecessary extra shots on a player who is down or the coach mocking an official right after? Had the tkachuk been a bad call then it wouldn’t sting as bad but what could he have been arguing?
