Lol. This team simply put doesnt have the talent, and is not good enough to not only not make the playoffs, yet alone win a round. Until we get 2-3 goal scorer snipers we will be stuck in mediocrity. I hope posters finally realize this

I don't disagree on the execution/awareness. To me that's part of effort - keeping mentally sharp. That Chucky penalty and following goal affected them way too much.

NHL goalies always have a chance on shots with no traffic. Needed a save on one of the first two.

This is precisely why I am glad Tre didn't make any moves. This team is a bubble team not a contender. As well, I just don't understand why GG didn't ice the same line up as the last Flames Avalanche game. Yes I get that it's an away game and the flames don't have last change. But it's not like GG matches lines that often anyways.

Second goal was terrible...certainly not all his fault but IDK
Goal tending has not been good enough since Smith went down

This season is lost. The Smith injury is a huge reason why things have gone south in a hurry, but GG hasn't got the most out of his players for much of the season. He got the most out of them for a handful of games after his stick toss, but that's about it.

For this being a physical game tonight I would have thought Stewart would have established more of a presence. I can see why he fell out of favor with the Wild.
Flames are losing because of horrible D in the neutral zone gaps and Rittich has fallen off his perch.

Leadership needs to step up this intermission. We dress Glass and Stewart and Brouwer and Hathaway. 4 guys who aren’t going to score you any goals but can grind the other team down. Glass did his job and got penalized for it.... the others need a reminder as to why they are in the lineup.
