Stewart has some very intriguing point totals in his earlier years. Hopefully he can reach back and find some of that skill again, he’s not that old and he clearly is a great locker room guy. Excited to see what he brings and very glad we have all our prospects still. Good day

Good observation. I think Kane is gonna start a rap career and mail in the rest of the season. California Love

He's incredibly slow, he's 31 and he has a reputation for being lazy.
Considering that just recently Boston and Vegas spanked us with speed, this is is just horrible.

Where are you getting this from? Is this your observation from watching him?

I just realized this will be his 6th team, he's only 31.

He's only 30.
And it looks like he was trade deadlined twice (only looking by games played, not looking into actual timing of deals).

30. But yeah. Minnie brought him back after losing him so he must not have burned bridges.

Pfft.
Is Giordano an idiot? Does he not read CP? How does he not know that Stewart is incredibly slow?

Great quotes here
Quote:
"I'm an energy guy in the locker-room, a pretty vocal leader and I think I've proven I can chip in offensively. I just play a hard-nosed style. I want to draw guys into the fight of the game and that's what I plan on bringing to the Flames."

Could be just the type of guy to get other guys engaged and motivated to play right at the start of a game. If he can chip in with the occasional goal or big hit, that's gravy.

Damn just skimming YouTube and this guy has been in some wars. Only fights heavyweights too, not rookies. Also a lefty which is deceptive when fighting. Watch out Kesler
Oh wait forgot Kesler only fights guys half his size or half his age

Wouldn't hurt to have Ferland watch him do it, either

I like it
Is it just me or was it inevitable he'd be Flame eventually...he always seems to be tied to the Flames when you hear trade rumours

I'm just logging in now.
Sorry, it's probably been discussed a dozen times already ... but why does a 'character guy' with 'lots of skill' and only a million+ expiring contract get put on waivers?
Something is obviously not right about the player.

Because they didn't have room for him? And he deserves to play? Why was Byron put on waivers?
Lots of skill is a bit of hyperbole, though.
