Tatar and Kane acquisitions made some kind of meaningful improvement more necessary IMO.

At least it wasn't a fourth. That's the money round.

Kind o disappointing that we couldn't add some extra top scoring punch. Especially with other teams in he div/conference adding. But I guess we have to wait I'll the offseason for that.

Too bad it's not to St. Louis. I remember that interview of him discussing missing his son, and it was quite moving.

Who would be looking to trade for any of those AHL players at the deadline?

Somehow Roger Millions managed to be completely wrong. The flames did do something but it wasn't a major move at all.

Man it would be enjoying to be a Lightning fan. Stacked team. Stacked Prospect List. Great GM.

Would have been great to see someone like Hoffman here, but for the prices Tatar and Kane garnered I'm pretty relieved to have had a slow day.
Depth additions in Stewart and Shore isn't going to excite anyone, but we did get better today. Definitely a case that the best move was no move. I wouldn't have been happy if Treliving decided that 2018 was the year to go all-in.
Looks like the playoffs will be tough this year, and make last years deadline look pretty bad. All around us may have overpaid - but they're much better this year.

To be fair this was about as close to nothing as one can expect without actually being nothing.
And I’m pretty sure they wanted Kane but SJ offered more.
