Where does he play though? although he's a right shot chicago fans claim he's only good as a left wing. a perfect fit for me is a right shot RW pure shooter that can play on the top two lines and play LW on the PP.
My perfect fit would be Mark Stone but I dream too much

Skinner is an injury prone left winger with a big cap hit. Id take a pass on him.

Refer to my above post. Flames will 99% not trade for him but it’s not because he’s injury prone haha
6 mill is a big cap hit for a guy whose scored 37 goals last year and on pace for 30 goals this year. I don’t think so

Why would the Hawks trade Hartman?

He just made the list?
Honestly, who knows why the pundits think they'd move Hartman. But IF....and that's a really big IF, he is available the Flames could do far worse. Cost controlled RFA who fits right smack dab in the middle of the core group.

Thinking it is more likely the Flames get a goalie tomorrow, maybe one that doesn't need waivers to be assigned to the AHL
Smith "day to day" lower body injury
Parsons "day to day" upper body injury
McDonald "day to day" lower body injury
The only other goalie the Flames have under contract is Nick Schneider who might need to be called up if anything were to happen to Gillies or Rittich.
The mysteriousness over Smith and Parsons makes me wonder.

Stockton just went out and signed a goalie to a PTO today too. C.J Motte? and this Fahlager played for them tonight. grasping at straws down there.

I'd rather give Kipper a call to un-retire than spend assets on a washed up back up goalie, surely 2 of our goalies can stay healthy enough for a week or so.

Flame only have 2 healthy signed goalies in any pro league. they're both in calgary. There be some real alarm bells going on.

Rob Kerr is a goalie, throw a cap on him if we need someone to ride the pine.

Looks like he is having an off year but as you say still in the neighborhood of 30 goal pace. That’s going to cost you $6 million isn’t it? Especially when he has shown he can pot 37 just last year.

Tomorrow going to be a telling day on Smiths injury. If they don't pick anybody he is probably only out a couple more weeks max. If they pick someone up, my guess is he's done for most of regular season.

Gallagher would be the player I’d want for sure. Would rather send prospects though.
