Previous two games he was injured. Today he was supposed to play, but they scratched him before the game.

Reading some of the things posted in the Calgary Flames fans group on FB makes me so happy I can come here and forget the idiocy that gets posted there by the fly by fans. My favourite right now is Brodie and a 1st for Kane. Dear God...

I'd do a Brouwer for Maroon trade. We could even throw in Bartkowski if they want.

With what the NYR got for Nash that’s not too far off.

I’ve always been in the camp of trading for Kane. If you end up playing the Ducks again he’d be just the kind of guy you’d want. Claim Stewart on waivers as well and you just got bigger and nastier, that’d sure help if we do wind up seeing Anaheim.

I would love to have Kane ferland chucky Hathaway Bennett versus the ducks. Could we finally be the bully? Would be so nice.

I’d take Maroon. Plays with an edge, bigger body, playoff experience, decent point producer both last year and on pace for same this year, given his role and this years crap team.
Do a 3 way with another team so the Oilers get someone else’s magic beans.

I can definitely see the Flames looking st Domi they might be gunshy due to Lazar but Treliving and Maloney know Max.

I understand where you're coming from, but I don't see the point of loading up for a playoff matchup against Anaheim when they might not even make the playoffs.
Ice the best team possible, period. Try to have a mix of all components needed in the playoffs, but don't go out of the way to line up against a particular team.

It would make a lot of sense. Would love to pick up max especially if chycka or whatever is silly enough to sell low on him. Also, Calgary and Phoenix make a lot of trades together, likely due to familiarity

Big Skinner fan but only one more year and UFA. At least he will only be 27 when he needs a new contract.
Not sure what the Canes would want though. They are so deep on D. That is a deal that probably costs Bennett and I am not sure we should do that

Jeff Skinner would be an insane add
Can't imagine the price would be palatable but he can score goals with the best of them
He is having an off year but I think he'd still be very pricy

totally agree. Really wanted the Flames to draft him instead of Poirier or Klimchuk. I also wanted Nichushkin over Monahan, so what the F do I know

Carolina is in a weird situation, where they seem to be past their rebuilding stage but still consistently out of the playoffs. With a new owner I wonder if they tear it down and trade some of their big peices outside of Aho. He’s a LW but Johnny can play RW.
