People blaming Frolik for a freak injury to Smith are being morons.

You can bet the only thing on the mind of everyone in the Flames room is how Smitty is feeling. Blaming Frolic or anyone else wouldn’t even be a thought.

Spoiler!

Solid road win. Dominated for the last 2 periods. Great to see Hamonic continue his strong play and get an assist on the winner.

Can't say enough about Tkachuk. For YEARS I've been praying for the Flames to have a guy like Tomas Holmstrom who could pull of some crazy deflections in front. Looks like we have that guy in Tkachuk. That tip on the game winner was pure filthiness.

Would love to see a video compilation at the end of the season of Tkachuk's tips

Between your groin and Moneyhands23's pubes; this has been a real NSFW game thread today.

Based on Smith’s reaction (angry, almost frustrated), I have a bad feeling it’s something he’s done before and/or knows it’s bad. I really hope I’m wrong...

Got great tickets (12 rows off the glass) for Nashville game Thursday. If it's Rittich I'm ready to cheer him on! If you see me on TV I'll be wearing an away Flames jersey, and a Chuck sign after tonight!

Chucky is one hell of a player..Hamonic’s best game as a flame by far. Hopefully Smith is ok.

Just wondering Smith has been having some lingering groin injuries in the last few games. He let in a few through his five holes. I have confidence on Rittich though. He can be a No.1 backup for Smith.

Scores 2 goals, draws three penalties, and an all around pain in the ass the whole game. Man I would hate Tkachuk if he wasn’t on our team.

I'm going to take it one step further.

Why don't we blame the sport of hockey? If nobody played this game Smith wouldn't have had to react to make that save which ultimately caused the groin injury.

Solid solid win. Lots of character in the way they came back on two weak/fluky goals and just kept pushing until they got it done. Shortened bench with Lomberg out. Really solid game from Jankowski and next level stuff from Tkachuk. That short glimpse of Janko/Bennett/Tkachuk has me dreaming about the things to come. This was a real statement game.

Man, exactly how I was feeling when I saw it.

Like it was something that's been ongoing for him that he's been playing through that's suddenly given out on him completely.

He's been a tad slower to get up recently in the last, oh, 10 games or so periodically.
