...yeah, we’re nitpicking, but it’s still a way to give your superstar forward a break...
Fair comment.

We had no business losing this game, should have been put away long before OT. The continuing PP issues are infuriating, and I really don't get why nothing is done about this issue. It just keeps on repeating.

Just got home. Here's my take;

1. Our power play is dreadful. It's probably cost us 7-10 points in the standings. Dave Cameron, pack your bags.

2. Brodie and Backlund looked like they polished off a few bottles of wine before the game tonight. That was arguably the worst game I've ever seen Backlund play. Downright pathetic.

3. Anyone who says Gaudreau isn't elite or a true superstar is insane. He is among the most exciting players to watch in the game today. Actually I really liked the whole top line tonight.

4. Stop doing the wave. It's stupid.

Recall LA is the best third period team in the NHL.
The Flames have 3 goals in 3 games. Let's not get mad at our best players when they try to create offense (never mind the two other mistakes committed by other players that led to that specific goal).

Gulutzan didn't need to say anything about Johnny he should have been diplomatic about it. I thought it was incredibly poor form, amateur at best.

Even if I could accept the 3 losses, I could never accept the boring style of play. The Flames have become the Minnesota Wild of the Pacific....and it is not pretty. They score first and try and kill the game. We did hit a couple of posts/crossbars but lacked the killer instinct to put the game away.

One thing that I have noticed is that the Flames don't have anyone with a quick release, they have players that can shoot but not quick enough, Johnny, Monny, and Tkachuk had more shots blocked tonight because they tried to get more on their shots instead of getting it on net in a hurry.

The third line has dried up. They don't generate much offense off the cycle like they did with Jagr. I hope they give Mangi a shot after watching a couple games from the press box. Hathaway is perfect for the 4th line while Mangi is better served in the top 9.

Maybe Johnny should ask the media why Gulutzan has Stajan/Lazar/Hrivik on the ice with less than 6 minutes left in a 1-1 game.

Lol Yotes. What a stupid team.
It's come to the point if he doesn't clear than so be it in my eyes. Cut your losses and move on if it happens.

What an amazing accomplishment. The Kings were 2-8 in their last ten games entering tonight. How many points have they gained on the rest of the conference? Actually don’t bother, you are a broken record in these PGTs.

Currently at 51.5% chance of making the playoffs. We need every point we can get.

Actually the fourth line had the next to last shift of the game. They got off the ice just before the final minute of play in regulation. They did a pretty good job on their shift as it turned out, but it's absolutely mind boggling how Gulutzan keeps making those decisions after getting burned quite a few times. It is after all, from an objective point of view, entirely possible to put other players than Stajan and Lazar on the ice with the game on the line.

Did you hate when D.Sutter used to call Iggy out in the media and call him amateur...doubtful.

It was a fair and honest critique from GG and I’m sure they had already talked about it in the room and on the bench.

7-0-3 in their last ten and really IMO the Buffalo game and the PP are the only real bad parts of these last three games.

Winnipeg - got dominated in the first but should have been up 2-0 if not for a BS call. Evened out the shots and chances in the final 40 - lost in a SO

Buffalo - stinker with a poor performance from the whole roster and a bad decision from the coach in OT. Frustration is justified

LA - better team for 60 minutes but PP let them down. Bunch of bad decisions across the board (Backlund, Brodie, Smith) in OT

In the end 3 points is probably what they deserved in these 3 games and really they were that close to being in a 10 game winning streak.

Honestly the only game ppl should be mad about was Buffalo, outside of that it was two tight fought games against pretty good teams.

One thing that really pissed me off tonight with Gulutzan is how he through Janko right back out there after taking that terrible penalty. That was a perfect time to teach some accountability to a rookie.

I’m trying to like GG, seems like a nice guy, but man his coaching style irks me.

17 of 20 points

I'm just not a moron...they have gained points on every team in the west other than the avalanche who won 10 straight

If you want to complain about something complain about the first half...17 points in 10 games is not why they are fighting for their lives...its why they are 2 points out of home ice

Just watched the game on PVR as had my own game. So glad I wasn’t at the Dome tonight.

This team plays not to lose. I absolutely despise our coaching staff and their supposed system. Its safe, uninspired boring hockey. We are where we are points wise because of Smith. And I’m tired of these coaches wasting (ruining) our talent and burning days, weeks, months and years off their contracts.

I could give two schitts about the ‘streak’. The entertainment value is pretty much zilch.

It was a realistic goal, could have or even should have won 2 of the last 3. L.A. has sucked Buffalo is 30th. It's funny how you only want to bring up the record and completely ignore everything else.
