Totally agreed. He loves to embellish everything just as much as Dustin Brown or Ryan Kesler.

Jonathan Quick is also a little beeeeatch. Master of the tantrum. Hope we get to see him lose his #### tonight.

Would love to see Doughty stick up for himself one of these games, rather than bitch, moan and whine to the ref's every time Tkachuk comes knocking.

I'm hoping someone takes a nice clean run at him, if only to get the energy going. But you know he'll have the whole team taking shots at Matt all game long meanwhile he avoids all confrontation as usual.. zzz

All good, I cancel you out. They have won both I have been to and I am going tonight.

Lines I would love to see:

Johnny - Mony - Chucky
Ferly - Backs - Mangi/Lazar
Benny - Janko - Mangi/Lazar
Brow - Staj - Hath

I'm totally over the Jagr experiment.

Great test for the Flames. Kings are really rolling this season, and seem to be fairly consistent. Flames really need to get off to a strong start against them tonight.

This is still a very important match-up. Yes, the Kings are way ahead, but the Flames can definitely catch them. What is pointless is having to leap-frog so many teams ahead of you. The Kings can easily stumble this season with an injury or two, and the Flames can put together a really nice win streak. I would say it is very unlikely if the Flames were trying to catch three teams ahead of them when they were all 10 points ahead. One team? Definitely doable, and this game is so important to get there.

Should be a fun game to watch.

Looks like no Jagr

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Backlund and Ferland both on the ice this morning. Both have missed the last two days of practice. #Flames

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Jaromir Jagr is not out there for optional morning skate. Missed practice yesterday for maintenance. Rarely misses if not injured. #Flames

Roger Millions @RogMillions
11 guys at practice. No Hrivik. No Jagr in ice. #Flames

I'm going to guess

Gaudreau - Monahan - Ferland
Tkachuk - Backlund - Frolik
Bennett - Jankowski - Hathaway
Mangiapane - Hrivik - Jagr

Ooh. I'm not sure if they'd scratch Brouwer. But if everyone's healthy, would they scratch Jagr over Brouwer? Jagr's definitely been better.

I get that you love Jagr and quite honestly we all do, he's a legend. But I would totally disagree that he's been better than Brouwer. Also, Frolik is still on IR.

I mean he's been more productive. 7 points in 22 games vs 9 points in, what, 39? He's also a very solid possession player, unlike Brouwer who is absolutely horrendous in that department. I do really love the idea of Jagr as a Flame and that might cloud my better judgement in some situations but I don't feel like I'm being unreasonable here.

I don't know what to say to this haha. I could've sworn he was missing.

Could be an interesting look. But wow is that right side weak. Is it really that hard for Gaudreau, Tkachuk, or Bennett to switch sides?

The Kings need to be taken down a few pegs. Luckily, we've found the crew to take care of business:

Spoiler!

Pat Steinberg @Fan960Steinberg
Gulutzan says Hrivik likely won’t play tonight. Says there are a few game time decisions with illness going through the room, though.
