I want to see Gaudreau start playing 25 minutes a night and pass Stamkos and Kucherov in the standings. I'm not big on personal stats most of the time but this would be great.

I think this is a bad idea. The season is a marathon, and the more runway Flames players have, the better.

Basically I'm trying to say Janko likely with his own skill-set is a better option than Brower in the same position. Of course Jankowski is not Nieuwendyk.
What I would see is when plays go off script Jankowski has better chance to make a play than Brower on our PP1.

Such a strange comment. Sure he might move on, but by no means guaranteed. What if the Flames win a cup or two? How can you be so sure what he will do in 5 years?

I can't be sure, but given the age he will be I can guess big dollars will be thrown at him. Not sure how it can be seen as a strange comment.

A lot can happen in 5 years . Plus when was the last big name FA to actually hit the market ? It doesn’t really happen anymore

Every year 5 or 6 guys get overpaid. Maybe he won't be be a top free agent or maybe he will be the best. What I'm saying is you have probably the best 5 years of his career coming up. Utilize it.

Yeah give Gaudreau near mcdavid ice time and he would be atop the stats board. Unfortunately they won't do that and he'll continue to be somewhat underrated.

Dowd is not an upgrade on Burmistrov.
